Super Sized Cycles: Custom Bicycles made for heavy bike riders

I took the bike to a local shop and they put it together for me. The guys at the bike shop said the bike was high quality and a very smooth ride (I think that they all tried it out). They were very impressed. Overall I am really happy and as you said it was well worth the wait. I hope that more people discover the site and order more bikes. Absolutely love the bike. It would have been great to get a book that showed the parts, the tools needed and a single diagram for how it all goes together - I was a bit frustrated. However, I took the bike to a local bike shop and they said it's an amazing piece of equipment and worth every penny I paid. - Douglas K

I love you! I used to be an avid bike rider 10 years ago and have wanted to get back to it. However, like you I was too afraid to that my current weight would collapse a regular bike and cause serious injury. I have been looking for a bike for large riders for some time now, and am so happy to have found one. - Anonymous
Just wanted to let you know that I got my New Leaf from the bike shop here in Florida and I am very pleased with it! Had it out for a ride today, and even though I haven't ridden in probably 20 years, I was able to get right on and start riding (although it did emphasize how out of shape I am!). I also wanted to mention that the bike shop was VERY impressed with the quality of the bike, how solid it was, and all the great enhancements on it. Mark thought it was a really great bike. I think it might have put a bug in their ear that there is an untapped market out there for heavier riders. - Jon
I got the "Time of Your Life" in December '09. It's a great bike; has a great ride and feel. After 30 years of being idle I have become an avid bike rider. a very comfortable bike and easy to transport, too. - Joe
This is a wonderful bike. I love that I ride upright on the Time of Your Life. It prevents the numb hands I sometimes get with other bikes. It's great to know I can stop and touch the ground without having to hop off the seat--it makes me feel a lot safer! - Anonymous
I purchased a Supersized Tricruiser and love it. At 73 years of age and 275 lbs. I needed a trike that was strong and comfortable. I manually use the trike for exercise, but if I am winded and a distance from home, on goes the motor and home I go. - Jerry
