This is one sweet bicycle!  When you live surrounded by hills, biking can sometimes be discouraging--you work your way up one to face another before you've even caught your breath.  This is no longer an issue with the Zuma.  Just engage the motor assist and you'll find yourself climbing hills with minimal effort, grinning to yourself as you recognize that you are acting like a jock!  You no longer avoid rides with lots of hills; instead, you embrace them as minor challenges as you cruise along, enjoying the sun on your face and the wind in your hair. 

Make no mistake about it, though--you're still getting exercise.   In fact, you're getting exercise and you're not even thinking about it--how's that for a change of pace?

The Zized! Zuma builds up some of the components of the traditional bike, so that it hold substantially more weight.  What do we change?  Some of the key things are the crank and the pedals, as well as the seat post and the seat itself.  We also change the tires, replacing them with tires which have a much higher thread count.  All of these changes go a long way in helping your bike last a long time with absolutely no problems--and isn't that what you want from your bike? 

The Zuma is  a large, cruiser-style frame with a powerful 500 W hub motor, which drives the rear wheel.  The Lithium-ion 36V rechargeable battery is 1/2 the weight of a conventional SLA battery pack and lasts three to four times longer.

The weight capacities of the two models will still differ a lot, with the step-thru holding 325 pounds, and the top-bar 425 pounds.  This is due to the design of the frame itself.
