Overview

The Personal Activity Vehicle ("PAV") is the ultimate comfort trike. Its' ample seat is on an easy-to-adjust sliding rack, and has an adjustable, thickly padded, high-back captain's seat. It is set at an easy-to-mount 24.25" from the ground. This 3 speed tricycle has a coaster (foot) brake as well as a front drum brake.

Like all Super Sized Cycles, this trike has reinforced tires and tubes, precision-sealed crank bearings, and is built extra sturdy. It comes with a rear basket and rear fenders. This semi-recumbent cycle combines incredible durability with a high level of comfort and balance.

I purchased the PAV3 in January '10 and have been very pleased with it. The trike is one of the better built tricycles on the market. It is very study and drives beautifully. A word of caution--it takes a while to learn how to drive (not ride) the PAV. If you are not careful while turning you can tip the PAV on its side. I am a senior citizen and you can not go racing around with it. Dozens of people have stopped me and asked about my little red trike. Great tricycle.

The weather has gotten warm enough in Maryland to ride our new PAV. We are very pleased with the construction and quality of the bike itself. The feeling of freedom is great and people are interested in the cycle. A few points for improvement would be a longer hand brake cable so that the brake can be moved to a more comfortable position and the use of better quality materials in the 'roof'. The plastic panel is cheap and doesn't really work well. We are having a better one made out of sunbrella material. Although we ordered a basket they sent it with a box - which we like very much. My wife likes it so much that we are considering ordering one for her in the near future. Thanks for all your help in the ordering process. The bike was easy to assemble - it took longer to break up the shipping crate!!! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.! Talk to you soon.
