Determining
Your Helmet Size
The proper helmet fit is an
important factor for safety and comfort. We want to ensure that you
get the best protection from injury and the maximum performance with a properly
sized helmet. A snug, aligned fit will achieve a safe and secure
ride. Below are simple steps to determine the proper size.
Remember to always ride safely!
Step 1: Measurement
Measure the circumference of your head with a tape measure. Place
the tape measure slightly above the ear and bring it across the mid-forehead,
completely circling the head about 1 inch above the eyebrows. Take
several measurements to make sure you have the largest size. If you
do not have a tape measure, use a string and measure it against a
ruler. The chart below will assist on which size is
the best fit. If a measurement falls in between sizes, go up to the
larger size
SMALL / MEDIUM LARGE / EXTRA LARGE

Wearing a helmet is critical for
your protection when riding a bike. It used to be that you'd have to look
boring or like a racer when you wanted to be safe, but with the welcome arrival
of Nutcase Helmets, all of that has changed! Welcome to the wonderful world of
Nutcase Helmets--The Most Fun a Helmet Ever Had!
You know you're on to something when your bike helmet wins the Eurobike Award!
Could it be their great style, excellent head coverage (both back and front of
the head), or their multi-sport use? These fun and solid helmets provide
comfort, style, and safety. They can be used when bicycling, skateboarding,
scootering, or inline skating. Every Nutcase multi-purpose helmet complies with
all CPSC safety standards for bicycle and skateboard helmets.
When you receive your helmet, try it on
Once you have received your helmet,
try it on. The helmet should be worn level on the head and not slide
or move freely when you roll your head from side to side. If this is
the case, you should use the extra padding provided with your helmet to achieve
a more snug fit.
Remember--Wear It!
Be sure the front of your helmet
lies just above your eyebrows and the back of the helmet does not touch the
nape of your neck. The chin strap should fit snugly, but not too
tight to cause discomfort or choking. Securely fasten he chin strap
and try to roll the helmet off your head. If the skin on your
forehead moves slightly, you have a good fit.
